Office Manager/Receptionist

We are looking for an adaptable, positive, and enthusiastic professional, able to provide high level customer service, motivated to oversee the administrative processes of the practice, and committed to enhancing positive patient experiences within our clinic. 

KTB Rehabilitation are a private clinic offering musculoskeletal therapy through a client centred approach to treatment. Our patient base is predominantly a mixture of acute sports, spinal and peripheral conditions and post orthopaedic surgery.  We offer physiotherapy, osteopathy, sports therapy, women’s health services and clinical Pilates.

 Duties and responsibilities: 

  • To support clients through their patient journey at KTB, ensuring all communication and encounters of our company meet the high expectation that accompanies a private healthcare practice.
  • To manage the administrative running of the practice including but not limited to diary management, provisions ordering, managing suppliers’ contracts, keeping Teams, SharePoint, Mailchimp contacts and distribution lists up to date, managing digital filing systems to policy and legislation.
  • To positively monitor the performance of the administration team to ensure effective service delivery. Sharing successes and identifying areas for improvement. To work closely with the clinical manager and to support regular audit. To provide appropriate leadership to support the development of administrative processes within the clinic.
  • To proactively influence occupancy through effective promotion, conversion, retention and accession strategies.  
  • To be proactive in developing excellent working relationships within the team as well as with external stakeholders including patients, medical professionals, and referrers. 
  • To manage non-clinical team members, monitoring and recording holiday, absence and cover and providing supervision, and appraisal.
  • To initiate, monitor and update non-clinical records and policies. To review Health & Safety practice and to initiate solutions as required.
  • To support with recruitment and the new hire onboarding process including system set-up, health and safety training and induction meeting planning.
  • To work within an agreed budget, exploring opportunities for income generation.  
  • Supporting with the business strategic direction including collaboration and project work as required.

Clinical Recruitment

We are always on the lookout for skilled therapists to join our team. Our busy private clinics have a varied clinical list with an emphasis on private and sports patients. We are looking for experienced physiotherapists who can demonstrate competent manual skills and ideally with an interest in sports rehabilitation. We are a flexible company and can offer full or part time permanent contracts. As a clinic we have a specialist interest in physiotherapist led Pilates instruction and therefore it would be desirable to recruit someone with a strong interest and ideally experience in Pilates instruction. Applicants must have strong communication skills and have a realistic flexible and hardworking attitude and work ethic. Private MSK Physiotherapist 

If you are looking for a supported role within private practice where you are part of a friendly, welcoming team, where you are able to progress clinically, treat a motivated group of clientele and see a wide variety of MSK conditions then we have the perfect opportunity for you.

We are a small, established busy private practice in Bexley Kent. Due to the bias towards private patients strong manual therapy skills, and experience of sports rehabilitation are required. As a clinic we have a specialism in physiotherapist led Pilates and so preferably the candidate will have a good understanding and be an advocate for Pilates within physiotherapy practice.

We have a highly motivated and experienced clinical team and as a company we show a strong commitment to supporting professional development and evidence based practice. We fund weekly in-service training which is enhanced through a generous approach towards funding external training. Supervision, mentoring and audit takes place regularly and the appraisal process is successful in supporting career progression. KTB Rehabilitation Job Description: Chartered Physiotherapist
Responsible to: Katie Ballard company director

  • To provide physiotherapy intervention to patients booked or referred into the private practice.
  • To determine clinical diagnosis and provide physiotherapy treatment indicated as an autonomous practitioner.
  • To contribute to service development and change, through appropriate liaison with the company director.
  • To contribute towards the support and teaching / training to other members of staff as appropriate.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • To assess, treat and rehabilitate patients presenting with various neuromusculoskeletal injuries, ranging from chronic whiplash and back pain to acute sports injuries.
  • To apply clinical reasoning skills and expertise to provide an accurate diagnosis of the patient’s condition.
  • To provide a physiotherapy service to up to 18 patients a day in line with current evidence- based practice.
  • To deliver Prescribed Pilates in 1:1 and group situations if you are employed to do so.
  • To maintain patient documentation, records and accurate reports in electronic format to reflect care provided and to meet professional standards and service level agreements.
  • To evaluate clinical practice through reflection, audit and outcome measures, individually, or with support from peers or the director in order to continually improve professionally.
  • To maintain an up to date and accurate portfolio of own CPD.
  • Responsible for regular risk assessment of both environment and working practice to maintain safety of self and others, adhering to the standards required under Clinical Governance.
