Clinical massage is very different to a spa massage. The techniques are similar, but rather than lovely music, candles and oils, our physiotherapists are concentrating on rehabilitation rather than relaxation.
Massage is effective for releasing muscle tension, identifying strains and weaknesses which can then be treated and soothe over-used or fatigued parts of the body.
We encourage our clients to book in for regular ‘maintenance’ massages to counter some of the strains caused by work, sport, active lifestyles or even sedentary ones too.
