Amidst the uncertainty in our society with the current outbreak of coronavirus, we would like to reassure our clients that our priority is your health and the health of all who visit the clinic, of course including our own team. We are following government advice carefully and we have strict infection control measures in place.
Have we got your up-to-date contact details?
In these unsettling times it would be very useful for us to be able to contact you with updates on any emergency measures that we may have to take to reduce any risk within our clinic from COVID-19. If you could please provide our receptionist with this information or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name as the subject heading we will add your contact details to your patient file.
Pilates clients have been asked to bring a small towel to enable us to continue using cushions and our mats will be disinfected between classes. You will also note that our physiotherapists in classes will refrain from hands-on cuing for the time being. In addition, we kindly request that all clients and visitors wash their hands with hot water and soap as they enter the clinic.
Physiotherapy and exercise have many benefits, including maintaining optimum health and strong immune systems. If you are fit and well, and have taken the necessary additional infection control precautions we would encourage you to keep attending. However, if you are feeling unwell, and especially if you have any symptoms of a cold or flu, we kindly ask for you to please take the time to rest and stay at home.
We will also be implementing telephone and video triage appointments for those who need our guidance but are unable to visit the clinic.
Cancellation feesPlease do keep in contact with us and we will be able to waive late cancellations during this period – but only if you let us know.It is important that you do not just not turn up as this will continue to incur a charge.
Digital physiotherapy & Pilates
We appreciate that some of our regular clients may not be able to attend the clinic for their physiotherapy appointment or Pilates class and we have been working on identifying ways that we can continue to support you remotely. Our team of physiotherapists will be producing documents and videos with general advice and exercises that will keep you moving. We are also exploring the idea of publishing short Pilates sessions online with you, to keep you in routine. We would like to share these by email and so please do check we have your updated details.
Thank you for reading, and if you have any specific questions do please ask and we will do our very best to provide you with an answer.
