Cycling is a big sport across the UK – both competitively and for pleasure but brings with it, injury risk.
The riding position and repetitive movement can both cause musculoskeletal issues which, over time can affect your performance and enjoyment.
Regular ‘maintenance’ physiotherapy can help to prevent injury but also keep you informed of weakness, with our physiotherapists giving good advice on self-care and home rehab in-between appointments.
We also encourage parents/carers to bring children in who are cycling competitively or frequently to allow us to advise on any issues that need to be addressed, corrected and prevented from turning into anything more long-term.
Triathletes can also benefit – reducing injury risk, rehabilitating injury and improving performance too.
